RUSTON, La. – Oklahoma Baptist battled but came away on the short end of a 79-63 score in a men's basketball exhibition at Division I Louisiana Tech Wednesday.

With the score tied at 28-28, the Bulldogs ended the first half on a 21-6 run to take a 49-34 halftime lead. Louisiana Tech scored one more point than the Bison from there.

"We played well," said OBU Coach
Quinn Wooldridge. "The guys competed. La. Tech is really good and we didn't back down."
Kevin Franceschi and
Chandler Rickey led the Bison with 17 points each with Franceschi adding eight rebounds.
Steven Green had 12 points and nine rebounds and
Vladimir Nemcok added 11 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

"The game was competitive from tip to final buzzer," said Wooldridge. "Vlad controlled the game for us."
The Bison return to regular season action Dec. 1 when Arkansas Tech visits for a 7:30 tipoff.
