LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Oklahoma Baptist took its second match of the NCCAA Central Region Volleyball Tournament Thursday, sweeping Southwestern Christian 3-0.
The 28-26, 25-17, 25-13 victory means the Lady Bison need just one win in two matches Friday to advance to the championship contest Saturday.
The Lady Bison had 12 blocks, led by
Sophia Couto with seven block assists.
Nicole Fleitman added five.
Rachel Richie led the Lady Bison with nine kills and
Cadyn Laing adding eight.
Kynnedy Myers had three aces and 21 assists while
Hayden Blair tacked on 13 assists.
Sierra VeraCruz had 22 digs.
OBU plays Grace at 10 a.m. and finishes the round-robin portion of the tournament against host Colorado Christian at 4 p.m.
