SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer faces Colorado Christian for the NCCAA Central Region Championship on Friday afternoon in Lakewood, Colo.
 
Colorado Christian is the host school of the tournament, and defeated Central Christian 1-0 to advance to the championship match. The Lady Bison received the top seed in the regional and an automatic trip to the final.
 
Ruth King has paced OBU with 10 goals this season on a .164 shot percentage. Abigail Hicks has added six goals and four assists, and Kenzi Bice leads the team with four assists this season.
 
Emma Beck has played 17 matches in goal, starting 16, while allowing 1.37 goals. She has recorded 79 saves and has a save percentage of .775 this year.
 
This marks the first meeting between the Lady Bison and the Cougars in a women's soccer match.
 
The Lady Bison can advance to the NCCAA National Championships in Kissimmee, Florida, with a win over CCU or by receiving an at-large bid to the tournament.
