BETHANY, Okla. – Oklahoma Baptist Volleyball's bid for a piece of the Great American Conference regular season title fell short as the Lady Bison stumbled on the road to their rivals from Southern Nazarene, 3-0 (15-25, 14-25, 25-27), on Tuesday night in Bethany, Oklahoma. It is the first time OBU has dropped a match to the Crimson Storm since the program was revived in 2008.

Nicole Fleitman finished with a team-best eight kills, while
Rachel Richie had six and
Sophia Couto and
Cadyn Laing each had five scores.
Kynnedy Myers handed out 22 assists.
Sierra VeraCruz and
Shekinah Sharpe combined for 23 of OBU's 58 digs for the night, while Couto and Fleitman each had a match-leading four total blocks.

As a result of the loss, Oklahoma Baptist (17-13, 11-5 GAC) finish tied with SNU and Arkansas Tech for third place in the final Great American Conference standings. They now await their bid to the National Christian College Athletic Association Central Regional.
