SHAWNEE – Hot off earning the 100th total conference win for Oklahoma Baptist head coach Anna Howle, the Lady Bison are vying for another win tonight at 6 p.m. when they face an upstart Henderson State team inside the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. This will be OBU's third match in four days, and the Lady Bison will be looking to make it three wins in as many tries.

Oklahoma Baptist (11-8, 5-1 GAC) holds the top spot in the Great American Conference standings, a half-match ahead of second place after winning against Southwestern Oklahoma State and Ouachita Baptist earlier this week.

On offense, the Lady Bison are hitting .175 while averaging 11.66 kills per set. They are led by Nicole Fleitman, who ranks seventh in the GAC at 2.93 kills/set, while Cadyn Laing has been terrific in the middle while averaging 2.01 kills/set. Kynnedy Myers is rounding into form, averaging 9.09 assists per set over her last five matches, and has three double-doubles in her last four outings. Oklahoma Baptist continues to pace the GAC in service aces, averaging 1.52 per set.

The Lady Bison boast one of the toughest defenses in the GAC, averaging 16.81 digs and 2.09 blocks per set, both of which rank in the top three among conference teams. Sierra VeraCruz and Shekinah Sharpe are neck-and-neck for the team lead in digs at 3.84 and 3.79 digs per set respectively. Laing has continued to be dominant at the net, ranking 25th in Division II in blocks per set (1.13) and eighth in total blocks (76).

Henderson State (8-9, 3-2 GAC) has doubled their overall win total in head coach Kristee Porter's second season at the helm, and have won their last two matches heading into tonight's contest. Offensively, the Reddies boast the reigning GAC Offensive and Setter of the Week in Courtney Bolf and Hailey Higgins. Bolf ranks third in the league with 3.62 kills/set, while Higgins is averaging 5.29 assists/set. The defense is averaging 14.70 digs/set, led by Sydney Skelton at 4.58 digs/set, but opponents are averaging 12.38 kills/set while hitting .194.
