SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist Volleyball closes out the Arkansas portion of the Great American Conference schedule when they meet Harding this afternoon at 2 p.m. inside the Rhodes Field House.

Oklahoma Baptist (14-10, 8-2 GAC) claimed pole position in the GAC standings following a 3-2 victory over Arkansas Tech last night in a battle between the top two teams in the league.
Nicole Fleitman has a team-high 2.94 kills per set average, followed by
Cadyn Laing who is owns a set average of 2.08 kills.
Kynnedy Myers is averaging 8.67 assists per set through 92 sets this season.

Defensively,
Sierra VeraCruz is posting an average of 3.85 digs per set, followed by
Shekinah Sharpe at 3.72 digs/set. As a team, the Lady Bison are averaging 16.86 digs/set. Strong at the net, OBU is averaging 2.15 blocks per set, led by Laing with 1.10 blocks/set.

Harding (16-6, 7-3 GAC) is one of three teams tied for second place in the standings, and has won their last three matches entering today's contest. A very balanced offense, five different Lady Bisons are averaging better than 2.00 kills/set, paced by Emily Clayton at 2.82 kills/set. Abigail Glosup has been responsible for that offensive parity, averaging 10.37 assists/set. Taylor Lake leads the team defensively with 5.03 digs/set.

With Arkansas in the rear view, the Lady Bison return home for their penultimate match of the season inside the Noble Complex when they square off against East Central on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. Oklahoma Baptist will be looking to avenge their only in-state conference loss this season.
