ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist forward
Ruth King scored two goals to propel the Lady Bison to a 2-1 victory over Ouachita Wednesday afternoon.

In the third match of season-long five match road trip, Oklahoma Baptist passed the .500 mark in Great American Conference play at 4-3.

The offense was aggressive all match, taking nine shots each half, while the defense limited the Tigers to just eight total shots.

Kenzi Bice played the feet of King to the right side of the six yard box as King was able to beat the keeper and give the Lady Bison a one goal advantage in the 34th minute.

King scored her second goal of the match midway through the second half, finding the back of the net after rebounding a deflection off a defender in the 74th minute.

Emma Beck picked up the win, allowing one goal while making three saves to put the Lady Bison back in the winning column.

King paced the team with five shots, while
Reagan Mann added three shots of her own. Both of Bice's shots were on target, and
Kelsey Bumgarner attempted two shots for Oklahoma Baptist as well.

The Lady Bison, now 7-4, will continue their string of road GAC matches when they face Harding in Searcy, Arkansas on Friday at 5 p.m.
