Lady Bison Fall at Arkansas Tech

RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – Arkansas Tech's full court press made an impact early and its inside offense sealed the deal in handing Oklahoma Baptist an 88-58 setback Thursday.

OBU turned the ball over against the full court pressure early to set the tone and finished with 19 turnovers for the night.

OBU struggled to a 31-percent shooting night and missed nine of 24 free throws.

Arielle Cooper led the Lady Bison with 15 points and Katy Custer added 11. OBU's four starting guards combined for a 4 of 26 shooting night.

Arkansas Tech's forward tandem of Aujana Dawkins and Fatima Adams combined for 34 points and 14 rebounds.

Now 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the Great American Conference, the Lady Bison take on Harding Saturday in Searcy, Arkansas, at 1 p.m.
