Arkansas Tech won the battle for the Great American Conference lead in the volleyball standings Thursday night, offing Oklahoma Baptist in three sets.
The Golden Suns won 30-28, 25-22, 25-21.
OBU had late leads in the first two sets, leading 23-19 in the marathon first set and 21-18 in the second set.
Priscila Mendes led OBU with 11 kills, while Cat Roth and Kate Decker added nine apiece. Kynnedy Myers had 28 assists. Shekinah Sharpe had two aces.
Nicole Fleitman led the front line defense with two solo and two block assists. Kaityln Lucy had 21 digs, followed by Decker and Carey Strong with 15 each.
Hunter Eshnaur led ATU with 13 kills and also had 15 digs.
Now 13-12 overall and 8-2 in the GAC, the Lady Bison host Harding in the Dig Pink Match Friday at 5:30 p.m.
