Walter Wright joined the OBU Athletics Sports Medicine team in 2015 and is the athletic trainer for volleyball and women's lacrosse.

After graduating from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, he was hired as a graduate assistant at OBU and provided sports medicine coverage for the men’s and women’s track and cross country teams.

After receiving his master’s degree, he was hired as an assistant athletic trainer at OBU.
