Allie Cross was hired as the Assistant Athletic Director for Fan Engagement in June of 2024.

Cross comes to Shawnee after spending the last four years at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, an NCAA Division II school. During her time at Parkside, she was the External Relations Graduate Assistant from 2022-2024 where she led all Marketing and Fan Engagement initiatives for the school’s 14 sports. Among her duties, Cross assisted with community engagement events and enhanced student and alumni engagement.

Prior to her graduate assistant role, Cross interned with the UW-Parkside strategic communications and marketing department from 2020-2022. Plus, she was a Stadium Operation and Marketing intern with the Rockford Rivets Baseball team during the Summer of 2021 and went back to the Rivets as a Co-Head of Marketing for the 2022 season. 

A native of Plano, Ill., Cross played volleyball at Waubonsee Community College from 2018-2020 and then went on to earn both her Bachelor’s and Master's degree in Sport Management from Parkside.
