Jason Proctor was named head coach of the Oklahoma Baptist men's and women's tennis programs in June 2018 after serving the previous season as assistant coach. Proctor joined the OBU tennis staff in the summer of 2017 after a year as a volunteer assistant coach for Big 12 regular season and tournament champion TCU.
At TCU, Proctor was involved in on-court coaching, running practices and coordinating team travel.
Proctor played four season at Abilene Christian University on athletic and academic scholarships. He received the “Spirit of ACU Tennis” award.
As a senior, he claimed a Southland Conference championship in No. 2 doubles and had a winning record at No. 2 singles. A captain of that 2016 team, he helped ACU to its first NCAA Division I national ranking.
Proctor received a bachelor’s degree in marking and was presented the College of Business Administration Integrity Award.
A Tulsa native, Proctor enjoys playing the ukulele, playing basketball and hanging out with friends.
