Manlapig, a 1994 OBU graduate, began coaching the women's golf team in 2010.

He has served as assistant to the director of athletics at OBU since 1998 and was named interim men's and women's golf coach in 2010 and became the head coach of the women's team later that year.

He also served as assistant softball coach at OBU from 1996-98.

Prior to coming to OBU, Manlapig served as athletic director at Southwest Christian Academy, where he also was head girls basketball, softball and volleyball coach and assistant football coach.
