  • Started his collegiate career at Norfolk State University in Virginia
  • Earned MEAC All-Academic Honor Roll distinction 
  • Prepped at Chaparral High in Scottsdale, AZ
  • Played football and ran track all four years
  • Amassed over 1,300 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior
  • Named all-region as a running back and returner, with an emphasis by the media as the best all-purpose running back
  • Part of the 6A Division I state champion team as a junior
  • Awarded the Firebirds’ offensive MVP award as a freshman
  • Excelled on the track as well, earning all-state honors in his senior year
