Jaycee Kelln's two‑hit shutout and a six‑run fourth inning to dispatch Henderson State at the OBU Softball Complex. The win improves the Bison to 23–3.
Scoreless through two frames, OBU broke through in the third.
Kaylee Davis jump‑started the offense with a leadoff home run to left. Moments later,
Kaley Cook reached and stole second before
Greenlee Wells banged an RBI double to the right‑center gap for a 2–0 lead.
Ally Ryan singled to center to move Wells to third, and
Nichelle Marshall's RBI groundout made it 3–0.
The Bison put it away with six in the fourth.
Abby Laskowski drew a walk and was lifted for pinch‑runner
Katelyn Kilgore ahead of Davis, who launched her second homer of the night to center. Cook followed with a single and another stolen base,
Alexah Reyes walked, and Wells singled to load the bases. Ryan shot an RBI single to left,
Haley Hacker lined a two‑run single to right and moved up on the throw, and
Jessi Hull added a run‑scoring single to left to cap the surge at 9–0.
Kelln slammed the door from there, striking out six and facing just 19 batters over five scoreless innings while allowing only two hits. Henderson State's knocks came from Jay Albiter and Josie Golden. Presley Applegate took the loss for the Reddies.
