SHAWNEE –
The Oklahoma Baptist softball team split a pair of games with Ouachita Baptist on the final day of the teams' series. The Lady Bison rallied in game one in the bottom of the seventh before falling to Ouachita, 4-2. In game two OBU won 4-1.

In game one OBU tallied a total of five hits.
Franki Hull batted in
Bry Flanagan and
Kristen Grabin to cut the score to 2-4 in the bottom of the seventh. Ultimately however, the rally came up just short.

In game two the Lady Bison came out strong with both
Aspen Grimes and
McKenna Anderson hitting a single. Grimes advanced to third off of Anderson's hit. Grimes then scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the second on a wild pitch. Anderson finished out the scoring in the second inning off of an error by Ouachita.
In the bottom of the third, Anderson batted in Demi Dodds and
Cheyenne Demaree on single.

Katie Long secured her first win in her first start, giving up only one run on three hits.

OBU next plays Texas A&M - Kingsville Monday. First pitch is at 5 p.m. at Lady Bison Park.
