BISMARCK, N.D. – Oklahoma Baptist rallied late but fell 2-1 to Montana State-Billings Thursday afternoon.

The Jackets scored two goals in the first half in the 26
th and 44
th minutes and held off the Bison defensively for a 2-0 halftime lead.

The furious first half saw
Parker Lawter register nine of his 11 saves in the match.

The Bison got on the scoreboard in the 86
th minute when
Alejandro Castillo blasted a loose ball into the net from 10 yards out.

OBU took 17 shots, led by
Dominic Gibson with four. Gibson, Castillo and
Sean Grilley had two shots on goal each with
Jesus Andrade and
Dave Brown testing MSUB keeper Ludvig Rhodin once each.

The Bison, now 1-5, return to action Saturday, taking on Simon Fraser at 11 a.m. to complete their stay in North Dakota.
