WEATHERFORD – Oklahoma Baptist lost one game and had another suspended after wind chills dipped to the low to mid 30s at Southwestern Oklahoma State Friday.

OBU lost the opener 4-3. The second game will resume at OBU Saturday in the third inning at 2 p.m.

Down 2-0 in the first,
Katie Reyes walked and later scored on a base hit by
Bry Flanagan.

OBU was down 3-1 before Reyes singled, stole second and scored on a single by Flanagan to make it 3-2 in the third.

The Lady Bison tied the game in the fifth when
Taylor Zanca tripled and scored on a sacrifice fly by Flanagan.

OBU loaded the bases in the seventh but lost when Southwestern turned a double play to end the game.

The Lady Bison left nine runners aboard.

OBU had seven hits, including three by Flanagan and two by Zanca.

Play resumes at 2 p.m. in the third inning of the second game, followed by the scheduled doubleheader.
