SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist split a pair of games with No. 18 Harding Friday, winning the opener 3-2 before falling 7-0.
 
OBU scored first in the second inning when 
Bry Flanagan walked, moved to second on a sacrifice, third on a single by 
Bailee Saye and scored on a squeeze bunt by 
Kristen Grabin.
 
Harding scored in the third and fifth innings to take a 2-1 lead, but OBU scored twice in the sixth.
 
OBU scored twice in the sixth. Grabin scored on a mishandled pickoff attempt and 
Cheyenne Demaree delivered an RBI single for the lead.
 
The Lady Bison had six hits in the game, including two by 
Dani Manning.
 
Saye went five innings and held HU to two runs and 
Amanda Peterson pitched two scoreless and hitless innings to gain the win.
 
Peterson took the loss in the second game as OBU was shut out for the first time in 30 games.
 
OBU was limited to four hits, including two by 
Miranda Garza.
 
The same two teams meet again Saturday in a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
