SEARCY, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist returns from their Arkansas trip still atop the Great American Conference standings after a 2-0 win at Harding Saturday.
The Lady Bison logged their fourth consecutive shutout and the fifth in the last six contests to improve to 8-0 in the conference and 10-4 overall.
Hannah White put OBU ahead in the 11
th minute taking a double assist from
Ruth King and
Jennifer Goethe, heading the ball into the right corner.
King put the finishing touches on the scoring, beating the keeper on a through ball up the middle from
Emmily Infante.
OBU out-shot their hosts 24-10, putting eight shots on goal.
Tori Kitchel had six shots and three shots on goal to lead the Lady Bison.
Emily Griffith played 80:46 in goal without being tested while
Sam Engles turned back three HU shots on goal in her 9:14 in the net.
OBU finishes off is six-game road streak Tuesday at Southern Nazarene in a 5:30 p.m. contest.
