SEARCY, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist men's soccer fell to Harding, 3-2, in overtime on Saturday afternoon at the Stevens Soccer Complex in Searcy, Arkansas, to suffer their first loss in Great American Conference play this season.

The Bison used goals by
Alejandro Castillo and
Michael Stewart in a six-minute span in the second half to eliminate the damage from an early goal given up in the first half. Castillo struck first in the 56th minute, making a great back-post run to finish off a cross by
Luis Romero. Then, in the 62nd minute, a cross whipped in by
Austin Needham met the head of Stewart who nodded it home to give OBU a 2-1 advantage.

Harding would draw level in the 68th minute to send the match into overtime, and go on to score again with 45 seconds remaining in the first overtime period.

Oklahoma Baptist (2-4-1, 1-1 GAC) continue their five-match road trip next week when they meet Fort Hays State in Hays, Kansas, on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.
