OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Baptist men's soccer fell to Southwestern Christian 1-3 in a neutral field contest played at Putnam City North High School.

Saturday's loss was the second straight for the Bison, who fall to 1-2-1 on the season.

A scoreless tie was broken by the Eagles when Jack Hazlehurst found his way behind the Bison defense and slipped a shot past
Parker Lawter inside the far post for the go-ahead goal in the 39
th minute. Lawter registered one save in 45 minutes of action between the posts.

Southwestern Christian scored the eventual game-winner six minutes after intermission and Hazlehurst notched for the second time of the night in the 61
st minute of the match to stretch the Eagles' lead to 3-0.

Alejandro Castillo scored the only goal of the night for the Bison on a penalty kick in the 82
nd minute. It was the only shot on target for OBU all match.

Thomas Ackerknecht allowed two goals as the keeper in the second half and
Jesus Andrade attempted three of the Bison's nine total shots.
