TROUTVILLE, Va. – Oklahoma Baptist finished off pool play at the NCCAA Softball World Series with a 2-1 win over Cedarville.

OBU broke a scoreless tie in the fifth when
Bry Flanagan singled, stole second, moved to third on a sacrifice fly by
Miranda Garza.

Flanagan singled, took second on a ground out by Shipman and scored on a double by
Kursten Bergene in the top of the seventh.
Â
Cedarville got its first three runners aboard and cut the lead to 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh.
Amanda Peterson recorded a strikeout, shortstop Shipman gunned down the tying run at the plate for the second out and Flanagan made the routine play on a grounder at second to end the game.

Peterson picked up the save.
Haylee Zimmerman pitched 6.2 innings, allowing one run, to pick up the win.

The Lady Bison had six hits, including three by Flanagan.
