SALT LAKE CITY – (
Box Score) Oklahoma Baptist dropped the first contest of a three-game road trip Tuesday, falling to Westminster 21-7 in the first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference road game in program history.

Hannah Dowell gave the Lady Bison an early 1-0 lead, scoring less than two minutes into the game. The Griffins answered with a 3-0 run spanning three minutes.

Breanna Wichert scored her eighth goal of the season to pull OBU within one goal, and Dowell scored her second goal of the game to even the score at 3-3 with 23:15 remaining in the first half.

Senior
Paige Morrison put the Lady Bison on top at 4-3, capping a stretch of three unanswered goals.
Alexis Martin scored two goals later in the half, but Westminster closed the half on an 8-1 run to open up a 14-6 halftime lead.

Savannah Tompkins found the back of the net in the second half for the lone OBU goal after intermission.

Freshman goalkeeper
Courtney Barnickle made seven saves in the first half, and
Caity Cullison recorded three saves while playing the final 30 minutes in the net.

Now 2-4 on the season and 0-2 in RMAC play, the Lady Bison will face Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, Colorado Thursday before wrapping up the road trip against Fort Lewis College Saturday afternoon.
