SHAWNEE – A battle between two of the Great American Conference's best offenses ended in a 3-3 draw as Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer played host to Southwestern Oklahoma State on Thursday night at the OBU Soccer Complex. The tie pushes OBU's unbeaten streak to six matches.

The Lady Bison started hot, gaining a two-goal advantage before the match had eclipsed the half-hour mark.
Ruth King scored off a smooth combination in the 16th minute as
Abigail Parker whipped in a cross from the left wing that
Reagan Mann then immediately squared to King for the easy finish. King then repaid the early service by Parker by crossing it from the right wing towards the backpost for the simple tap in by OBU's freshman left winger in the 24th minute.

Three goals by SWOSU in quick succession soon after saw OBU looking at a one-goal hole heading into halftime.

With the squad still trailing late in the second half, Lady Bison head coach Michael White made a trio of offensive substitutions to press for a tying goal.
Abigail Hicks found the answer, poaching a mishandled ball by SWOSU's goalkeeper, to restore parity with six minutes to play.

Both teams had several good chances through 20 minutes of extra time, but neither was able to find the golden goal needed to claim victory on the night.
Emily Griffith wrapped up the night with a career-high 11 saves.

Oklahoma Baptist (8-1-1, 4-0-1 GAC) returns to action Saturday at 4 p.m. when they host Northwestern Oklahoma State at the OBU Soccer Complex.
