Men's Soccer Falls to Harding

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist fell to Harding 0-2 Sunday afternoon in the Great American Conference Tournament Championship match at the OBU Soccer Complex.
 
The Bison finished runner-up in the GAC Tournament after taking the regular season championship.
 
After a scoreless first half, Harding scored the first goal of the match in the 58th minute. The Bisons scored their second goal on a penalty kick.
 
Each team attempted just 10 shots for the match, with HU testing the keeper five times and OBU putting two shots on target.
 
Vicente Castillo and Thiago Dos Santos paced the Bison with three shots each, and Colin Spencer made three saves as keeper.
 
The match was very physical and each side received four cautions, including both head coaches.
