McPHERSON, Kan. – Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer edged out Central Christian 1-0 in the final match of the regular season Thursday night at the CCC Soccer Field.
Kerregan Edwards scored the only goal of the match, finally breaking the scoreless tie in the 77th minute to propel the Lady Bison (11-5-1) to their eighth victory on the road this season.
OBU dominated for much of the match, limiting the Tigers (11-5-1) to just one shot before halftime and four shots for the match.
Emma Beck made two saves on the night as the Lady Bison posted their second straight shutout to end the regular season.
Ruth King paced Oklahoma Baptist with seven shots, including four shots on target. Edwards and
Reagan Mann each attempted four shots and tested the keeper twice. As a team, OBU attempted 26 shots and took 10 shots on goal.
The Lady Bison will next appear in the NCCAA Central Regional, hosted by Colorado Christian in Lakewood, Colorado. Dates and opponents will be released at a later date.
