Bison Fall to Pilots

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Oklahoma Baptist fell to Bethel (Ind.) 1-2 Monday afternoon in pool play at the NCCAA National Championship.
 
The Bison answered an early goal from the Pilots with a strike from Thiago Dos Santos in the 50th minute. Alec Young assisted on the match-tying goal.
 
With less than 10 minutes remaining in regulation, the Pilots converted a penalty kick for the final goal of the match.
 
Dos Santos finished with a team-high four shots, Vicente Castillo took two shots on goal, and Luis Romero attempted two shots for OBU. Bronson Wise made four saves in his third consecutive start as keeper.
 
Oklahoma Baptist wraps up Pool "B" play Tuesday afternoon against NCAA Division III opponent Houghton.
