BETHANY, Okla. – Oklahoma Baptist scored a late goal to defeat Southern Nazarene 3-2 and complete the season sweep Tuesday night.

Kenzi Bice broke a 2-2 tie in the 84th minute to seal the third straight road win for the Lady Bison over a Great American Conference opponent. OBU defeated the Crimson Storm (4-11, 3-6 GAC) by a margin of 3-0 in the first meeting of the season.

The Lady Bison struck first when
Kerregan Edwards netted a goal in the 23rd minute, rebounding a miss by
Markella Suka. Less than 10 minutes later the Crimson Storm would answer to tie the match 1-1.

Suka picked up her second assist of the night just after halftime.
Abigail Hicks cleaned up Suka's shot just three minutes into the second half to once again give the Lady Bison a one-goal advantage. SNU converted a penalty kick less than 10 minutes later for the equalizer.

Bice had the game winner for OBU after she scored following a
Reagan Mann miss.

Emmily Infante and Bice paced Oklahoma Baptist with six shots each, and
Emma Beck made three saves in the win.

With the win, the Lady Bison improved to 9-4 overall, and 6-3 in GAC play. OBU now has 18 total points, tying Ouachita for second in the conference. This wrapped up the longest road trip of the season at six matches, finishing 5-1 during that span away from home.

Oklahoma Baptist returns to action Saturday, Oct. 22, to square off against East Central. It will be the first home match for the Lady Bison since Sept. 27.
