SEARCY, Ark. – After taking a three-goal lead, Oklahoma Baptist fell 4-3 in a double overtime Great American Conference match to Harding Friday night.

The Bison allowed four unanswered goals to the Bisons, and OBU remains one point away from clinching the GAC regular season title after their first defeat in conference play. A six-match winning streak was snapped with the loss, as well as the record-setting five match shutout streak.

Vicente Castillo opened up the scoring with a penalty kick in the 8th minute, his GAC-leading ninth goal of the season.
Matthew Giudice took a through ball from
Thiago Dos Santos to beat the keeper and extend the Bison lead to 2-0 in the 29th minute.

OBU scored once more after halftime when
Jonathan Martinez scored off an assist from
Michael Stewart. Harding scored the next four goals, including the game winner in the third minute of the second overtime period.

Colin Spencer took the loss in goal, making six saves while allowing four goals.

The Bison remain in the driver's seat in the conference, and can clinch first in the GAC with a draw or win against Southern Nazarene in the final GAC match of the season, or a Harding loss to Ouachita.
