Oklahoma Baptist fell 3-2 on the road to Rogers State Saturday evening in Claremore, Okla., in the first of five consecutive away games for the Bison.
OBU, now 1-6 on the season, fell behind early in the first half when Dylan Beaird scored the first of his two goals for the Hillcats.Â
David Estrada evened it up going into the half on an unassisted goal at the 40 minute mark, scoring off a deflection from a corner kick to tie up the match 1-1.
The Bison gained the lead less than three minutes into the second half when
Martin Romero scored a header off a cross from
Vicente Castillo and
Britt Morgan.
Niall Masterson tied up the match at 2-2 at the 62:56 mark, and Beaird scored the game winner five minutes later.
The Bison finished with six shots on goal, paced by Estrada with two.
Truman Berghall ended the match with three saves for the Bison.
RSU improved to 5-1 with the win.
OBU will travel to Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m.
