"That's something we have to work on, but overall we held a pretty good quarterback and the scoreboard doesn't reflect how well we played on defense," said OBU Coach
Chris Jensen. "We've faced a lot of adversity, but if we handle this the right way, we can improve and pull together closely as a team."
OBU fell behind 20-0 after a 10-play, 54-yard drive with 1:39 left in the opening frame.
The Savage Storm went ahead 23-0 with a 25-yard Jake Walters field goal.
Jacques Henderson got the Bison on the scoreboard with a 21-yard TD run with 1:50 left in the half. OBU's PAT kick failed for the 23-6 halftime margin.
Brynden Pitzer picked off a SOSU pass and returned it 73 yards for a touchdown and
Blake Woodard passed to
Connor Kinsey for the two-point conversion to make it 23-14.
The Bison surrendered another touchdown but answered quickly with a
Dezmond Stegall TD pass to Josh Perryjohn for a 45-yard touchdown to make it 30-20 with 4:32 left in the third quarter.
SOSU scored on a 67-yard interception return by Raheem Wilson for a 37-20 advantage with under two minutes left in the third quarter.
Cooper Koons took a pitchout on a reverse and hit

The Savage Storm added another field goal for the final margin.
