SNU Blanks Lady Bison, 1-0

Oklahoma Baptist dropped its final home match of the season Tuesday, falling to Southern Nazarene, 1-0.

SNU got the game's only goal in the 40th minute with Kelsi Bussert getting past OBU keeper Emma Beck and tapping the ball in.

Beck finished the match with five saves.

OBU put six shots on goal, including two by Mikayla Lowery and one each by Jennifer Goethe, Markella Suka, Kylie Williams and Shelbie Shawn.

The match was the last home contest of the career for seniors Williams, Shawn and Maddie Windham.

Now 4-8 overall and 2-7 in the Great American Conference, the Lady Bison play Thursday at East Central at 4 p.m.
