Southwestern Oklahoma State scored one goal early and added an insurance goal late in the second half to take down Oklahoma Baptist 2-0 in a Great American Conference match at the OBU Soccer Complex Saturday night.

Charlotte Eastman scored an unassisted goal in the 10th minute to give the Bulldogs a lead and added her second goal of the game at the 79:02 mark to keep SWOSU tied for the conference lead with Harding. 

The Lady Bison put up a total of six shots in the loss, with Kerregan Edwards and Emmily Infante each registering a shot on goal. Markella Suka, Mikayla Lowery, and Shelbie Shawn took one shot each and Kayla Kendall attempted a shot after coming off the bench.

SWOSU attacked from the opening whistle, finishing with 19 total shots while Courtney Flores picked up her eighth shutout of the season in goal for the Bulldogs.

Junior keeper Emma Beck made eight saves, including five in the second half.

OBU falls to 2-4 against GAC opponents and 4-5 overall. The Lady Bison are midway through a six game homestand and will host Harding on Thursday and Ouachita Baptist on Saturday, Oct. 17.
