WICHITA, Kan. – (
Results) Oklahoma Baptist wrapped up competition Saturday at the K.T. Woodman Classic, hosted by Wichita State.

OBU men met 20 NCCAA national qualifying standards, and the women posted 18 qualifying marks.
Â
Shariah Anderson met the qualifying standard in the 100 meters (12.45) and the 200 meters (25.30).
Â
Candis Rodgers also qualified in the 200 with a time of 25.23.
Â
Five Lady Bison met the standard in the 400 meters, led by
Breanna Hurlbut with a fourth place finish in 56.84, the fourth-fastest time in the NCCAA this year. Abigail Mayfield (58.05),
Kysha Miller (59.94),
Shimoya Currie (1:01.38), and
Tesa Potter (1:01.38) also punched their ticket to nationals.

Senior
Lacey Herbert was a qualifier in the 100 meter hurdles (15.68) and the 400 meter hurdles (1:05.45).

Tia Coleman met the standard in the 400 hurdles as well, finishing sixth with a finals time of 1:04.30, the third-best mark in the NCCAA this year.

There is no NCCAA qualifying time for relays, but a team of Coleman, Anderson, Rodgers, and
JoziRose Mayfield finished ninth in the 4x100 meter relay in 48.80.

Hurlbut,
Abigail Mayfield, Miller, and Currie took third in the 4x400 meter relay, finishing in 3:57.55.

Sydney Long met the qualifying standard in the high jump (5-00.25), long jump (17-0), and triple jump (37-4.5). Her triple jump was the second-best mark in the NCCAA.

Carleigh Neal also qualified in the triple jump at 35-8.75 feet.
Â
Brittany Poe was a qualifier in the shot put (37-8.75) and the discus (121-9).
Â
Senior
Kimberly Mead met the standard in the shot put at 36-11.75 feet.
Â
For the Bison men,
Jermaine Lewis qualified in the 100 meters at 11.07.
Â
Devontrae Young met the standard in the 200 meters at 21.35, the second-fastest time in the NCCAA.
Brandon Crowley (22.11) and
Thiago Dos Santos (22.13) also qualified in the event.

Three Bison qualified in the 400 meters, paced by
Clayton Honeycutt in 49.99.
Carlos James (50.32) and
Matthew Giudice (50.48) also met the standard.
Â
Brandon Crowley set a new NCCAA top time in the 110 meter hurdles with a 10
th place finish in 14.81.
Dakota Kappelle (15.46),
Cayden Spain (15.50),
Christopher Walker (15.59), and
Andrew Worley (15.78) also qualified.

Walker (56.21) and Kappelle (56.83) met the standard in the 400 meter hurdles.
Â
A relay team of Dos Santos, Young, Crowley, and Honeycutt finished fifth in the 4x100 meter relay in 42.23.
Â
Though it is not an event sponsored by the NCCAA, a team of Crowley, Spain, Kappelle, and Walker finished second in the 4x110 meter shuttle hurdle in 1:02.03.

Worley (6-3.5) and
Hayden Ashley (6-1.5) both met the standard in the high jump.

Phillip Spess and
Spencer Lashley tied for fifth place in the pole vault with identical 14-9.5 qualifying marks.

Tanner Profice qualified in the long jump (21-4.5) and
Zachary Medeiros met the standard in the hammer throw (131-7).

Up next for both the men and women is the Great American Conference Championships April 21-22, hosted by Harding in Searcy, Arkansas.
