Sabra (Clark) Sewell was one of the best setters in school history. The Andover, Kansas native holds the top-three single-season assists-per-set averages, and her 4,406 career assists are tops in program history by nearly 2,100. Also of note, her 63 assists versus Wayland Baptist on Oct. 22, 2010, were the second-most in a single match in school history.
Her accolades run deep: Sabra was a 2012 NAIA Third Team All-American, a four-time Sooner Athletic Conference First Team selection and was the league’s Setter of the Year in 2012. Plus, she was the SAC’s Freshman of the Year in 2009 and earned the SAC Tournament MVP award in 2012. In the classroom, she was a two-time Collegiate Sports Information Directors of American Academic All-District selection.
