An 19-time NAIA national champion as a member of the women’s track and field program, Fields was a national champion in the 5000m, 1500m, 1000m (twice), and the 800m (twice).
She also holds the national record in the mile, and was a member of a three indoor national title and one outdoor championship teams. During her career on Bison Hill, Fields was also a Drake Relays individual champion and record holder and holds eight OBU school records.
Fields is a two-time USATF Indoor bronze medalist and was a 2016 Olympic Trials qualifier. She won a combined 19 team and individual national titles in her time at OBU and collected 21 All-America honors.
Originally from Edmond, Fields followed her successful collegiate career by running professionally for Brooks in the 800 and 1500 meters. Then she worked for two years as a volunteer assistant coach at Oklahoma State. Currently she is an associate head cross country coach and assistant distance track coach for the University of Oklahoma.
